Guest Post – Not Too Casual Fridays

This blog post originally appeared on Lindsey’s Listed and was republished with permission.

Hey everyone!

So I wanted to put together a look that was super comfortable, super easy but still looked dressed up! Leggings are everyone’s best friend trend right now, and for the very foreseeable future, so they were a natural to incorporate. The top is a multi wear piece that I blogged about here showing three different ways to wear it, and by wearing it as a dress and folding the top down, I’ve created the fourth way now to wear it! Awesome!

So the top is the 3-in-1 poncho from Buttercream Clothing, an ethical fashion company that is well known for their loungy styles and soft fabric choices. It comes in a few different prints, so there are lots to choose from. It drapes beautifully whichever way you decide to wear!

The leggings are the Falling Leaves print from Lone Wolf Boutique, another Canadian ethical fashion brand. Their selection of prints is outstanding, and there is something for everyone. They are nice a thick and wear really wear. I find them very figure flattering!

I wore a pair of heels from Michael Kors to keep a dressy feel plus a cute little amethyst choker. This will be a great outfit for spring and can be topped with a nice denim jacket for cooler day.

About Lindsey

Lindsey was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She grew up wanting to do something creative with her life, something a bit outside of the system. In her teenage years, she dreamed of fashion design and had a taste for beautiful things and finding things that accented a body, a room, a piece of furniture just the right way. It wasn’t until her early twenties that she began to teach herself to sew, and while she enjoys the odd project, she finds it just as satisfying to admire the work of other creators. She started her website as a way to share her passions with the world and to give a glimpse into her little life. To learn more visit: http://lindseyslisted.com/.
