We’re feeling full of fall here at Buttercream HQ! Since our fall collection launched, we’ve been revelling in the excitement this time of year brings. There’s no sense in mourning the end of summer when there’s so much to look forward to in fall. Here are the top four things we love about fall.
Pumpkin Spice Lattes Everything!
From teas, to body butters, to scented candles! There’s something so deliciously comforting about this seasonal scent. But did you know there’s actually no pumpkin in pumpkin spice? GASP! It’s true, and if you love baking this time of year as much as we do, here’s a pumpkin spice recipe for you to use in your pies, muffins, spiced nuts, pancakes or to sprinkle on your latte and give it some zazz.
Fall Fashion
Fall is the season synonymous with slouchy tops, knitted sweaters, soft scarves, leggings and long boots. Get creative with layers and mix and match different prints and textures. And don’t think this season is limited to darker hues. You have every right to paint your nails a cheerful colour or add a bright scarf to your ensemble. Make the most of this fun season, before you have to hibernate in a giant Michelin Man down coat!
So Many Colours
This time of year produces the most spectacular array of colours! We love those trees with fire engine red leaves that burst with brightness next to their evergreen counterparts. Or those huge piles of orange and yellow leaves that crunch delightfully under your feet. And we’re smitten with the golden sunsets (especially over the Rocky Mountains!). Decorative Pumpkins
The Buttercream Team like to stay crafty during downtime too, and pumpkins make an awesome creative outlet! It’s so satisfying spending a crisp fall morning at a pumpkin patch picking out favourites, then carving them for Halloween or arranging them to make the house feel festive.
